Do enough of the below so that you know the whole staff will be aware of your
 
absence/lateness.  Of course, if you've suffered a concussion and therefore
 
can't get to a phone or email, we'll understand.  Just do what you can.
 
 
 
* Send an email to staff@freegeek.org
 
* Phone the receptionist 503.232.9350
 
* Try to make phone contact with a staff member by way of his/her cell phone
 
 
 
If phone contact is made with a non-absent staff member, the non-absentee must
 
send an email to the staff list (if this hasn't already been done) _and_ tell
 
other staff at Free Geek, especially the receptionist, as soon as possible.

This is a long standing policy, set by the staff collective prior to 2005. Updated by the staff collective and HR in Spring 2011.

Revised by the staff collective in February 2012 as the Call-In_Policy.
