GEEK FAIR is Free Geek's annual celebration and summer fundraiser. It is a day-long block party in front of the FG Community Technology Center and inside the event space. The last one was on July 16th 2005 from 1pm - 7pm. Geek Fair this year falls on July 15th 2006, which is a Saturday.

Geek Fair is an Outreach committee project.

It is one one many Events that Free Geek does every year.

  • Delete Martin's Spam! Martin gets lots of spam, duh. Only due to his recent travels to Uganda half of his emails from Africa are not spam. Whoa! perhaps some asses could provide this as a challenge. Contestants have 1min to delete as much spam as possible.

Facilities FreeGeek needs food storage equipment (pantry, 2 chest freezers & 2 refrigerators with locks); 12-foot stainless steel food prep table; dish washer; 3 microwaves; soup & salad bar; two 5-foot upright floor fans; delivery van; deli case, ice machine; range/oven;

Consumables we need to solicit food donations (all varieties of food, beverages, herbs, spices, etc. especially shelf-stable, canned or vaccuum packed edible items)
