Outreach
Overview
Outreach (was) staff committee that is open to volunteer participation. We cover a lot of different areas at Free Geek, so to make this more manageable we broke it down into five subcommittees and one over-sight committee called "Outreach." Each has a mailing list that can be joined by signing up at: http://lists.freegeek.org/listinfo
-FG Events (parties & festivals)(Geek Fair, prom, holiday party) *could meet once a month, maybe even skip a month) meets seasonally *For more info, e-mail: events@freegeek.org
-Inreach (tours, volunteer rewards, core breakfast, front desk, public email addresses, thank yous) meets once a month 4th wed 7 pm *email address: inreach@freegeek.org
-Communitybuilders (room use, tabling, relations with neighbors,networking with other orgs)twice a month on the A week Thurs 7pm *email address: communitybuilders@freegeek.org (forward commies@ to this address, please)
-Fundraising (fundraising, grants, membership development) once a month maybe. We will consult Marie. *email address: unknown at the moment
-PR (media outreach & relations, ads & marketing, website, corporate donations solicitation) Twice a month on the B week Thurs 7pm *email address: pr@freegeek.org
